Hi guys,I was just reading something on another forum about TomTom 7 on WinCE 4.2devices and a possible fix.anybody with a WinCE 4.2 device feel like being a guinea pig!! LOL!In you ttnavigator.bif file you should see this:-TomTom NAVIGATORDeviceName=CUSTOM INFORMATIONDeviceVersionHW=Windows CE 5.0DeviceSerialNumber=.DeviceUniqueID=.ApplicationVersion=7450ApplicationBuildNumber=9028Can someone change the line in theirs using a text editor to read 'DeviceVersionHW=Windows CE 4.2'and let me know if that solves the problem of the maps not being seen please.(make sure you create a backup of the file first of course!!); )RegardsBrian Bradnell. Bugger!!You did do a soft and hard reset after putting the.DCT &.META back in the map folder?!?! Sorry if you didn't.I forgot to mention that!!Are you just using the TT7Keyegen.exe or another keygen??Apparently they're having mixed results with this method, works on some but not for all.CheersBrianP.S. Maybe just for kicks try taking out the v6 map.i remember reading something aboutthose not working with this new PNA patch?? (v7 map is a fair bit better out here anyway!!) =).
Tom Tom 7 How toThis download has been tested on a Navsoon 3667 and a Tevion P310 GPS units.The Tevion was set up to run from the SD card and therefore both units ran TomTom 7 from a SD card.Both units run WinCE 5.0.Please note that occasionally a memory error comes up but re-running the program usually solves this.
